Daydream, welcome to the forum. check out the link in post #31 which will give you the range of ticket prices on the official website for the 2019 tattoo.. From around 18.30 a sandwich buffet – complete with a ‘wee dram’ – is provided at the hotel. you then have plenty of time to wander through the historic streets to edinburgh castle and take your reserved seat for the edinburgh military tattoo. please note that an uphill walk is involved and there is no vehicular access..
